Potterton Commercial is in the running for a top award, after being shortlisted for its Sirius FS (floor standing) range of boilers.
The range has been announced as a finalist in the Innovation of the Year category at The Energy Awards 2015.
The Innovation of the Year award is designed to recognise any innovation that has enabled an organisation to excel in its field.
Potterton Commercial developed the range by converting its best-selling, energy efficient wall hung Sirius boiler into a floor standing model, providing specifiers and contractors with ultimate flexibility in matching the load of the building.
Neville Small, sales director at Potterton Commercial, said: "Being shortlisted for such a prestigious award is an honour.
"Previously, product development for wall hung and floor standing boilers has been kept entirely separate, so converting our existing range posed a real challenge. However, in doing so, we have introduced a number of innovative practices, and delivered a more efficient product in the process.”
The awards ceremony will take place on December 2 at London's Hilton Park Lane hotel.
